Emtan Karmiel Ltd. is an Israeli manufacturer of small arms and firearms components for military, law-enforcement, and security organizations.
Emtan was founded in 1977 as a machining business supplying precision components to Israel’s defense industry. In the early 80s the company manufactured firearm components, including parts used in Israeli weapons such as the Galil, Jericho, and Uzi for major Israeli defense manufacturers. Main Products
Emtan produces firearms, weapon components, and upgrade kits for existing weapons systems. Its main products include the MZ rifles series, several rifles based on the AR-15 platform, MZ-9 submachine gun, the Ramon and Arava pistols. Israeli Use of Emtan Products
